I made my preop appointment today because it was Brooke's last morning of VBS and I really wanted to just stay home Friday and get some cleaning done. So Matthew had to go with me. I bribed him with ice cream, and he did surprisingly well. He helped me listen for when they called my name, helped the nurse attach the leads to my EKG, and watched me draw blood. He also kept the anesthesiologist entertained while I signed paper work. So when we left, we went by Dairy Queen and Grandmama Cook's until it was time to go and get Brooke.
I have been cutting out naps with him because he wants to stay up so late at night, but he is currently asleep in time out for hitting Brooke. Tonight is family night at First Baptist, so he has to wake up soon!
I have to call tomorrow afternoon to see what time I have to be at the hospital.
OH! And the worst news that I received today was that I was going to have to take my toe nail polish off! My toes still look good from my last pedicure!
