Back To Work

I made myself get up this morning and had Matthew at Shanna's before 9. I was actually in my classroom at 9. Brian went Sunday and took all of my boxes down for me and helped me moved some big furniture. I thought my room was in pretty good shape until I started unpacking boxes this morning. I have seen enough rat and roach poop to last me for a LONG time. Thankfully, I got them all done today, now I just have to finish putting it all away, get my board up and get things ready for the first day. Usually if I put my board up, it makes me feel better, but I havent even bought material yet!! Grandmama is making me a desk skirt to go over my desk that matches my border and Terri found material to make curtains. I cant wait to put it ALL together and see what it looks like.

Matthew did NOT want to go to Shanna's but then he is happy and plays all day. When I picked him up, he kissed and kissed me and sang the whole way home so I KNOW that he has fun. Shanna said he stopped crying as soon as I walked out the door. It still is hard to leave him screaming like that.

Brooke stayed with Brian today on his furlough day. She liked it, she stayed in her pajamas all day and didnt brush her teeth. I was not so happy when I arrived home.

We are leaving Sunday to go to Manatee Springs for the day and then spend the night with Nana and Dale. The kids are excited, Brooke and Brandon have been to the springs before, but the rest of us haven't. Brooke is staying with Nana for a few days after that.

Do you think we will see any manatees? They said there is a small chance, the season to see them is December-March, but maybe we will get lucky. Of course, if there are manatees, then they don't let you swim, dive, or canoe! Brandon has already said he is going to kayak again.
