Today, Matthew, Brooke and I went to visit my friend from high school Denise. Denise and I have known each other since 8th grade, we both played the flute. She moved away after high school and we have briefly seen one another at Wal-mart and a church event, but we found one another on facebook and decided that we needed a reunion. She and her husband Greg moved back to Tifton several years ago, and recently they adopted their baby boy, Andrew.
I am the short one, she is to my left. (Yes, I have always been the shortest everywhere I went.) We were on a practice field somewhere in St. Pete.
Here is Denise at the motel in St. Pete. I was trying to take her picture through the glass and she was making a funny face, but I think that all I succeeded in was blinding her.

It was good to see her and her mom was there too. Here mom was one of our band chaperones. She always took really good care of us!

She looks just like Toby. Oh yeah, did I mention that she totally lost her eyesight after high school? It has not slowed her down much!
