We got an email yesterday that I anticipated. More furlough days for us after the first of the year. We have 2 planning days in January that I assume we will no longer have...... The cut in Brian's pay is already hurting us. They were nice enough to take my 3 days and divide it up by 12 months. So I just figured it up and that will be $535 for the year that I lose SO FAR. I DO get a salary step this year, so that will pretty much make up for what I lose.
The kids are all still enjoying school. Brooke loves Matt Wilson and I think that maybe her going there and not to Reddick was one of those unanswered prayers. Some friends are NOT happy there. One of her friend's mom picks her up everyday and brings her to me so for that I am very thankful. Her friend has a new baby cousin that was born Thursday and is having constant seizures. They transported them to Macon and are trying to figure out what is wrong. I know how it feels to have your baby taken from you to a different town so please think about them. I will try and remember tomorrow to ask her what the baby's name is.
Brandon got his mid-quarter yesterday and he has all A's and B's even in Spanish!!! Matthew has not been to time out this week (so far) so that is a miracle. He has not been a good boy for Shanna.
The kids are showing not this Saturday, but the next Saturday in Fitzgerald. Brooke is excited because she has new (to us ) Georgia Boots. I commented to Shanna that I needed to find her some on sale and Shanna said that Kasey (her daughter) had a pair that had only been worn once did we want them? Of course I said!! She has been wearing them around the house.
We are looking at new washers and dryers. Brian finally said the he could fix ours no more. It is almost 13 years old. Surely washers and dryers have years like dog years right?
