Yesterday was our last day of school before Christmas break. Thursday night we made treats for Brooke's school party and Matthew's party at Shanna's. Matthew had reindeer cookies and Brooke had chocolate covered pretzels. I have never been so sick of the oven in my life. We did pull it all together and actually got to bed at a decent hour.
A few days before that Matthew, Brooke and I made gingerbread men and a gingerbread house. We had a lot of fun. I have a new scrapbook kit from Just So Scrappy that I am working on right now made just for Christmas cookies. I have attached a few photos below.
Today, we went to Terri's for the Christmas brunch. Matthew actually sat with Santa, I expected him to run in complete terror. But I was able to get the cutest pictures. Even Brandon sat with him.
The expedition is torn up, we have to put a new engine in it. The sad part is that we are on the waiting list and it will probably be 4 weeks before we get it. Three drivers in the household with ONE vehicle didnt go over well. So Grandaddy Fincher let us borrow his extra vehicle and we are extremely grateful!!!!!I have a few things left to do this week, very thankful that we actually have a few days before CHristmas this year, instead of us working through Friday then Christmas being on Monday. That was hard finishing everything up!
Brandon is enjoying his job, I need to go by and take some pictures. We will probably go on Matthew's birthday since we are having his party the Saturday after Christmas.
