We have been super busy lately. Brian is working FULL TIME at Moultrie Tech now, teaching 4 nights a week AND Saturdays in ADDITION to his regular job at DOT. This leaves me with the kids and all of their responsibilities.
Soccer season is in full swing, Brandon plays on Tuesdays and Fridays. He is still trying to work on the weekends. He is really enjoying his truck and so am I! Especially with Brian gone all of the time, I dont have to share with Brandon...
As you can see, I am even cheating with my blog designs, I usually make my own, but I cant seem to find a time to sit and make any!
The end of the school year is fast approaching. This is the first year that I go home at night and feel that I have accomplished something. It is my 4th year teaching and it took me this long to figure out what I was doing! $25000 worth of college and it didnt prepare me ONE BIT! It does help that I have the sweetest class.
It is almost time to get Matthew registered for 3 year old Kindergarten. I hope to get him in at Peace Lutheran, the place that Brooke went. I cannot believe that he will be in school. I can honestly say that these past 3 years have flown by. It makes me sad to think that sometimes I am so busy, that I dont sit enough and spend time with all 3 of them individually.
On a GREAT note, Matthew is finally potty trained! NO MORE DIAPERS! I got a small raise because of this......Just one day out of the blue, he decided that he would go to the potty, both ways! He does get creative and often I find little sprinkles from him, on the wall, on the back of the toilet. He gets up in the mornings and picks out his underwear.
Shanna is going to call DFCS, Matthew will only wear jeans, one of 3 fire department shirts and his rubber fire boots. I am not sure what we are going to do when it gets hot. Luckily, when we went to Kohl's the other day, they had 3 new fire shirts that were short sleeve. I tried to talk him into some football shirts or something different, he wanted NOTHING to do with them! I dont fight with him about clothes as this is the LEAST of my worries! I also forgot to mention that he has a bigger hat collection than most grown men. Every morning, he picks out what hat to wear. It might have Budweiser on it, or the name of a chemical. WHO KNOWS?
