Post Birthday and some other stuff

I just ate a piece of my birthday cake for breakfast and it was delicious. I awoke this morning to find a multitude of ants, everywhere in the kitchen. And of course Brian and Brandon were not here to take care of it so I had to do it myself.

I stayed up until 3 this morning reading. I could not sleep anyway, it may or may not have had something to do with the 1) advil migraine (that has a ton of caffeine) that I took 2) The 20 oz. Dr. Pepper 3) The coke I had for dinner and 4) chocolate cake.

Reading some blogs the other day, I found out that there is a sequel to the book (or movie) Not Without My Daughter. I didnt even know there was a book! So I went hunting for it because I like the move, it has suddenly been revived on Cinemax lately and I watched it again the other day. I promised myself that I would read the first book first, but I didnt. I read the sequel. It told what happened after she got back to the states and about her movie and book tours. It really gave stories of other parents whose children had been taken to other countries too. The movie came out when I was in college and my friend Laura was dating Posha, I dont even remember where Posha was from. After we watched the movie together, she broke up with him and I always felt really bad for that. but she is married to go ol' Stevo now....so I guess it all worked out!

We have a busy agenda the last of the week and throughout the weekend.....
Friday-I am taking Brandon to meet Truman in Albany
Friday night-family night for VBS (I love them, but those kids are wearing me out and all I pretty much do is crowd control!)
Saturday-hopefully nothing!
Sunday-I think we are cooking Father's Day lunch!!!

Hopefully next week we can take it easy. HA HA

I just wanted to add one more thing: Every morning, Matthew gets up wanting to go see Brooke. There is usually no hello mama, kisses or anything, he has got to go and see what she is doing. Brooke gets up early and watches TV. No matter what she is watching, she always turns it to Disney Channel for Matthew to see if Handy Manny or Mickey Mouse Club House is on. Even if she is watching Hannah Montana or the Jonas Brothers.
