Fall, Finally

It felt wonderful when I woke up this morning, I acutally put covers on Matthew because his legs were cold. He woke up about 8:30 and he always aggrivates one of us. Today was Brian's turn. He climbed on his daddy's head and told him his head was broken. Brooke spent the night with mom and dad, usually he runs in the living room to watch tv with her. We got up and cooked breakfast, but Matthew was not hungry, he had already found the apple pie that Brandon left in the fridge from Friday night. It was either me open it for him or he was going to eat the packaging too.

Kids showed goats on Saturday, all 3 of them. I have pics on facebook but have not put them on shutterfly yet. It was hot! Poor Brooke when I went to fix her hair, she was so sweaty. I am afraid she is going to be like me and always be hot natured. When I was in the hospital about to have Matthew, if someone touched the thermostat, I screamed at them, I was so hot.

We no longer have a football player in our house. Brandon quit after much debate and argument. He is turning in his stuff tomorrow. I partially blame the coach because even though it is work and the kids need to practice, he is not making it enjoyable. He is still playing soccer in the spring.

Brian and I got to walk around Lowe's today by ourselves. We are looking at washers and dryers. I am trying to hold out until the tax free weekend in October, but I am not sure that we are going to be able to. Our washer and dryer are almost 13 years old and they have done their service. He has patched and repaired them as much as he can. Right now, the knob is broken and you have to hold your tongue just right to start a load of laundry. I think it is time to let it die with dignity. But, we dream shopped while were in there looking at refridgerators, cabinets and other things and found out that we like NOTHING the same. So, if we do get to build a house, I am not sure it is going to go well. Everything I liked, he did not and vice versa. The only thing we DID agree on was a refrigerator we found. It was only $3000! But it was cool! And no, it was not the one that talked and told you when you were low on groceries. We couldnt have one of those because it would never shut up!
